Welcome to Claire Moriarty Interiors....

I have always been interiors obsessed and I love designing spaces for people which is why I took the plunge and started my own Interior Design business. It's the best decision I have ever made and I thoroughly enjoy my job as an Interior Designer.

I am heavily influenced by Scandinavian interior design. I'm drawn to the simplicity, bright and airy spaces and the connection to nature that Scandinavian design is known for.

I like to mix old and new in my designs, breathing new life into period features with a modern touch or adding antiques to new spaces. You'll find that my designs usually have a neutral backdrop, but there are pops of colour throughout. I tend to find my inspiration for a project from a piece of artwork, a photograph or a treasured object. It is these pieces that make each space personal and individual.

I particularly enjoy creating family spaces. As a mother of three little ones, I know first-hand just how much 'stuff' they come with. Clever storage solutions are a specialty of mine. I love a great interior design challenge and creating a home that is stylish and elegant yet liveable can definitely be a challenge, but it's something that I love to do.

Design

Designing your home – from the moment you get the keys or the floorplans for a new property and want a complete refurbishment to adding a much-needed extension to an existing space, I can help you. I will work with you to breathe new life into the original features in your older property or help you design your new build to add character. Services include space planning, kitchen design, bathroom design, living room design, bedroom design, whole property design, assistance with paint and colour choices, soft furnishings, furniture, and lighting selections.

Sourcing and purchasing

Do you need a new sofa, rug or wardrobe and would like some direction? Perhaps you have an idea in your mind, but you don’t have the time to source the items yourself? I read all the latest trade publications and attend trade shows to ensure I'm up to date with the latest trends and brands and I can recommend retailers and suppliers. I have trade discounts with many retailers, and I can source the products for you, while crucially keeping to your budget.

Online Interior Design

Perhaps you’re not quite ready to commit to a project and would like interior design guidance over the phone or via email. I offer Online Interior Design packages starting from as little as £249.

The services included are as follows:

Questionnaire – I provide you with a questionnaire to complete, outlining your brief and capturing your needs and wants
Telephone/Face time – We have a chat about your needs and get to know one another (30 minutes max)
Digital mood board for room concept.
Shopping list with links to retailers
Assistance with wallpaper and paint choices
Floor planning
Tips on how to style your space
Optional Extras (site visit charged at £69.00 per hour –(Applies to London only, outside of London do get in contact)
